Collegix GUI Screen Trouble? Try 'Clear Cache'
We normally don't have to 'Clear Cache' very often, but doing so clears your computer's local short-term Collegix memory and it's helpful sometimes because it forces the GUI screens to reload from source. It's a good thing to try if your Collegix screen is not behaving as expected and there are no error messages.
- If you have a 'Clear Cache' shortcut on your computer's desktop already, start with step 2 below.
Step-by-step guide
To create a shortcut to 'Clear Cache':
On your desktop, right-click on an empty spot, then choose New/Shortcut - For the location, change the user name below from 'gregg' to yours and paste entire link into location field, or else browse. Call if you have any questions.
C:\Users\gregg\AppData\Local\Asent\AtGUISvr\tmpcache
- When using the shortcut, double-click, then just delete all files in tmpcache (click on top file, press and hold Shift key, click on bottom file. All files should now be highlighted. Use Delete key and they're gone!
- That's all. Try Collegix again.
Now you will see a new shortcut on your Desktop. Double-click to access tmpcache.
