CW-Roster Viewing-My Rosters vs Class Schedule/Fac-Staff Directory

CampusWEB - My Rosters always shows the user only rosters for courses where they are actually the instructor. 

There is some confusion about department admins being able to view all the department's rosters - that needs to be done through the Class Schedule or Faculty/Staff Directory menu items on the Faculty/Staff tab in CampusWEB.

"My Rosters" is a function of courses and instructors and academic departments, the department head view is a function of Personnel and job department.  Department heads have access to all rosters and advisees for faculty in their department only.  If an instructor teaches a course in another department, the department head who is not the instructor's supervisor will need to request that roster from the Registrar's Office.

Step-by-step guide

To view rosters an Admin user must do the following:

  1. Have the Faculty/Staff as their active tab.
  2. Select either Class Schedule or Faculty/Staff Directory
  3. If browsing the Class Schedule, each course taught by an instructor with the appropriate JOB.DEPT will be accessible via a "View Roster" link under the instructors name.
  4. If looking at an entry in the Faculty/Staff Directory for an instructor with the appropriate JOB.DEPT the instructor's schedule will be accessible via a "Schedule" link next to their name.  Clicking on that link will bring up the "My Schedule" page for that instructor and from there, rosters will be available.
