How to Install AirTame on a Mac
Overview
This process is meant to help users from students to faculty install the AirTame application on their Macbook Computer. Airtame is a classroom technology that allows users to share their screen with a projector or TV so that it can be viewed by more people.
This How-To document was created using MacOS Ventura, so some of the prompts may be different if you have a different operating system.
Requirements
In order to follow this process you MUST have a Morningside University managed student, faculty, or staff computer with the "Self Service" application installed.
The application is usually in the "Dock" at the bottom of the screen as shown in the picture:
Installation
1. Find the "Self Service" app within your applications folder, or dock and click on it.
2. Click on "All" under the "Browse" section
3. Find the appAirtame
4. Click "Install"
5. Wait for the install to say "Done!", if you do not catch it in time it may go to "Reinstall". This also means it is installed.
Give the App Permissions
6. Click the Launchpad
7. Click on "Airtame"
8. Click "Request screen recording access"
9. Click on "Open System Settings"
10. Find Airtame
11. Toggle the switch on
12. Put in your password (must be admin)
13. Click "Unlock"
14. Click "Quit & Reopen"
15. Restart your computer
16. log back in and start Airtame again
17. Click "Enable Audio"
18. Put in the password
19. Click Ok
Use the App
20. Now you can Search
21. And screens that match with show up
